With auspicious beginnings as our maiden vintage in 2000, the Ernie Els Signature is our flagship wine: a New World, Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux-style blend with exceptional depth and plenty of ageing potential.
Our Signature Canapé Tasting, offered exclusively in our Tasting Room, thoughtfully showcases our flagship wine alongside a seasonal canapé pairing, accompanied by a rare vintage pour from our Vinotèque. Enjoy the experience in the comfort of our tasting room’s wine library or out on the terrace with expansive views of the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains.

Your journey begins with a generous pour of our current vintage Ernie Els Signature
A bold, Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux-style blend known for its perfectly rounded tannins and dry, lingering finish.
The wine is paired with a Rare Roast Beef, Beetroot Tartare, Crispy Greens & Burnt Aubergine Canapé, thoughtfully prepared to mirror the wine’s depth and earthy complexity.
To refresh the palate, enjoy a Beetroot, Berry & Black Pepper Sorbet, a bright and textural cleanser designed to carry you into the final pour.
The tasting concludes with a carefully selected vintage wine from our Vinotèque, showcasing the age-worthy elegance and complexity that define our wines over time.
